At The Pedal Steel Guitar Players Group, we talk about most things concerning pedal steel and lap steel and ask questions and get answers.  there are over 20 members and players usually do not post unless they have something to say or need a question answered. I send mp3s through the group at times of songs that have steel guitar so players can learn from the intros, breaks and endings of the song. I send at times, solos through the group which are midi to mp3 and all the rhythm is taken out so that players can learn the solo note by note, I also send through backing tracks so that players can practice a certin song. I do not share at any time any media that my fellow players create, cause those are for sale and players have them for your buying pleasure and we truly want to honor their rights and remember players of steel guitar are not main stream and we want to sell their products so that they will turn out more products for all of us players to listen, learn and enjoy. No unkind remarks are allowed about any player or any family member of a player always be respectful towards others on the group If you are not a steel guitar player, you are still welcome to join, you probly can use the solos and backing tracks and practice tracks will be sent through and the backing tracks, solos and practice tracks are yours for your own private use please. I will also send through the group tabs that from the internet. On my 'Pedal Steel Resources" site, solos and backing tracks along with practice tracks are in play format only in swf.
